software tools that are appropriate for a particular project, we specialize in using the ACL for Windows / ACL
Analytics software system. For many of our clients, ACL is the core software engine that is the basis of their
data analytics operations and continuous monitoring systems.
ACL Analytics (also known as ACL for Windows) is a leading PC client-based data extraction and analysis
software tool. Although originally designed for audit purposes, the software can be used by any business
department to perform data analysis, help detect and prevent fraud, for risk management, and for other
purposes. ACL data analysis software can be used to find irregularities or patterns in transactions that
could indicate control weaknesses, inefficiencies, or fraud. ACL Analytics connects users to data sources
and lets them run sophisticated analytics that detect anomalies or patterns that would be difficult to detect
with random sampling, common spreadsheet software, or business intelligence software.
P.I.A. Consulting provides open-enrollment, as well as, on-site ACL training courses for our clients. Our
open-enrollment ACL training classes are offered in various locations in Texas and throughout the U.S.
